Tribal Print Trend

Summer Trend Alert: Tribal Prints

Prints are a major fashion trend this spring and summer season, but one style in particular—the tribal print—seems to be making a bit more of a mark than some others. Style mavens are creating unique and interesting outfits by mixing patterns and layering textures in creative ways that channel a very “global chic” vibe.

Though this trend might seem a bit intimidating at first, it’s actually fairly easy to pull off with the abundance of pieces available that flirt with the trend. Try buying a dress in an Aztec print; then all you have to add is a great shoe in a solid color that’s found in the print. Or add a global inspired top to your favorite pair of jeans or denim shorts. For the really bold at heart, go for tailored separates in complimentary patterns; the simplicity of the shapes will allow the patterns to stand out without competing with each other. However, if you’re still not quite ready to commit, start small with accessories—a great bag, stacked bracelets or fun earrings can go a long way!
